Joey of English 2026

Joey of English is an international English competition. The aim of the competition is to support foreign language education by creating a learning experience full of curiosity, excitement, and fun for students.

​

Stages

 

These competitions also document and assess students' language levels.

Joey of English competitions consist of 3 main stages:

 

Stage 1 - Walk: This is the first stage for all participants.

 

Stage 2 - Run: This stage is for students who ranked in the top 20% in the first stage.

 

Global Finals - Jump: Only students who ranked in the top 20% in the second stage are invited to this stage.

 

Categories:

 

Pre-A1: Grade 2-3-4

A1: Grade 5-6

A2: Grade 7-8

B1: Grade 9 - Prep

B2: Grade 10-11

C1: Grade 12

Certificates:

​

       - Gold: 90% score and above

       - Silver: 75% score and above

       - Bronze: 50% score and above

       - Merit: 40% score and above

​

Grading: 

​

Each question +5 point, no penalty for wrong or empty questions.

Joey of English holds the copyright on all question papers and exam materials.

Complaints

​

All candidates should have a fair and equal chance to prove their skills. Any concerns or complaints relating to the delivery of the exam should be sent to the Centre first.
