For more than a decade, our team- and the academics who advise us- has organized international competitions across disciplines. Along the way we notied the same gap again and again: events excelled at testing, but rarely at connecting. 

We create JOEY to change that.

JOEY is built on two pillars: academic rigor and shared human experience. Yes, we care deeply about transparent rubrics, fair divisions, and expert judging. But we care just as much about what happen between rounds- conversations over meals, friendships forged across borders, and the inspiration that comes from discovering a place together.

What makes JOEY different is not only what we assess, but how we host:
